Attn All knowledged and experianced WEB developers,I am 100% NEW at this, annyone willing to help? se

OK, here it is. I own aboy 50 domains, none of which are anything more than that. i bought them through three different companies: YAHOO, IPOWER and NETFIRMS. i just signed up with precision hosting as my host server. I have also just downloaded Microsofts visual web developer express. OK my question. how do I get started in building on my first website. is there a basic step by step procedure? i just got the basic minimum hosting package so i could work the pages, if i so later chose to upgrade my services or transfer to another hosting company, what would be best, as to not having to pay all kinds of transfer fees?

Wow.. first question why 50 domain names? What are you going to do when your year is up? Can you set your nameservers to precisionhosting? Do you have a static ip address to point the nameservers to?

You need a site that supports asp .net 2.0 (and does precision hosting offer this?) and least sql server express to fully use the visual web developer.

You don%26#039;t need to transfer the domain registrar just update the nameserver entries at the domain registrar to point to the ip of your new website.

BTW there is no hosting service called precision hosting... You could host your own websites on your own machine if you are using XP pro but you will be limited on the number of concurrent connections.

you should think about hosting your own site on your machine. why you would want 50 domains i dont know. if you are goning to develop with visual wep develper express. you have made a good choice.

my next thought is who you are currently with do the support asp.net 2.0, and secondally, if you wish t program asp pages you will need to choose a programming language, primarilly visual basic or c#
