Website hosting?

Hi, I have a domain name available and would like to publish a new personal web pages (website) in that web domain. It seems that for website hosting all the service providers are asking for an additional monthly charge. Please advice if you aware of any free option available to publish a website and good tool for website development.

Website hosting?

Website hosting?

There are a number of free sites. Just do a google search for %26quot;free web hosting%26quot;

1and1.com is a great choice if you can pay a few dollars a month. They also provide some great free software to help build it.

Other Replys:Here%26#039;s one that%26#039;s free with no ADS either, with full features like cPanel, five FTP accounts, five email addresses, five MySQL databases, and auto-installers for a bunch of goodies like WordPress, osCommerce, PHPBB, and then some...

Other Replys:At the end of the day you get what you pay for with web hosting. If you can afford it then you are better off finding a host with an affordable product for you, websites are like eating peanuts.... you can%26#039;t stop at one..... so it is best to set yourself up with an option for future growth. If you look at selling stuff further down the track you want a site with good stats tracking, the ability to ftp in to it when you want and to be free of free ads that free hostings have.

Many of these hosts also have templates and sitebuilders that will help with your first web site.

I know that you asked for free, but I have seen others burnt by free web hosts and having to change on a regular basis when they collapse.

Other Replys:I don%26#039;t think there are any website hosting service providers that are free, as for a good website development tool I recommend XSite Pro its very good and its very easy to use! Find more about XSite Pro here: http://www.reviewpot.com/reviews/XSitePr...

Other Replys:I have the perfect answer for you:

http://www.terapad.com - the free version is fully functional, and you can use your own domain name. Its easy to use as well. Good luck with it :-)

Heres a review that thinks its #1 :

Other Replys:Hi,

When choosing a web host it%26#039;s of course important to consider the cost (some hosting can be very expensive) but here are some other important things you should take into consideration too:

Web Hosting Space: Some web hosts will only give you 500MB or so of space. This could be a concern if you are looking at creating large websites.

Bandwidth: Some web hosts will severely limit the bandwidth you can use before you incur extra charges.

Uptime: There%26#039;s no point in having a website if people can%26#039;t see it. Does your web host offer at least a 99% uptime guarantee?

Number of websites allowed: If you%26#039;re looking to host more than one website on your account, will your web host charge you more to do this?

Support: If you have any problems you need to be able to contact your web host quickly and easily to get the problem sorted.

I have used Hostgator as my web host for over two years now and have been very very impressed with them. Firstly they%26#039;re very cheap but still give me more web hosting space and bandwidth than I%26#039;ll ever need, the ability to host unlimited websites, a 99.9% uptime guarantee and great customer support. You can find them at http://www.webhostgator.info
