Does firefox have a "host" site that you can block web sites with?

I want to block Myspace, Facebook, etc, and all the other web sites that are ruining my kid%26#039;s lives.

yes you can block web sites but i don%26#039;t know what u mean by host site, you can also block sites by using your router

It does not have a host site but it uses the hosts file on your machine. If you follow windows\system32\drivers\etc you will see a file in there named hosts. Open it with notepad and enter the neccessary entries for blocking them. For facebook, you would type:

127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com

You do the same for any other sites that you type as long as you use 127.0.0.1 at the begining
